When Neil Brewer approached us personally to have four lapel pin designs custom made as long service badges we obliged. The standard of quality had to be superior to the standard lapel pins you see on the market today, he wanted the metal pin badges to look more like an expensive handmade solid precious metal badge as they were to be given away as luxury gifts to reward his staff with long service awards. We cast each badge in 2.2mm thick bronze then hand finished, polished and gold mirco plated each item with 2 microns in 18 ct rose gold, 18 ct yellow gold, bright pure silver and special black ruthenium.
