When Nandos approached us to turn their branded badge design into some bespoke badges we didn’t think twice. We were all delighted with the way the badges turned out, their subtle design incorporated a P and a heart which stands for I Love Putney, you could also think of it as I love Peri Peri which is Nandos trademark marinade.
These bespoke badges were made to a standard 20mm size from solid 1.8mm thick base metal with a die stamped recessed logo and polished silver plated finish on the top surface. The badges were used for an in house company promotion for staff to wear in order to drive more sales.
Nando’s is a South African restaurant franchise that was founded in 1987 and has over 1000 international premises.
It all started with Fernando Duarte a Portuguese engineer took Robert Brozin his business minded friend to a Portuguese take away called Chickenland to eat one day. Once they tasted the chicken which was cooked with piri piri, the chilli sauce that originated from Mozambique, they both purchased the restaurant and renamed it to you know what that rhymed with Fernando.
Nandos restaurants are all heavily influenced by Portuguese related themes. The food is healthy, the chicken and corns are are freshly made to order and barbecued in front of you so not only do you know you are getting fresh food you get it served up quick, it is for this reason why Nando’s business model has triumphed in the UK, us brits are always in a hurry and convenience is everything with our hectic lifestyles bustling city.
All past orders can been seen on our lapel pin badge page.
